What is the objective of the Asbestos Awareness Course?
Our Asbestos awareness course will not prepare employees or self-employed contractors to carry out work with ACMs. Asbestos Awareness training is only intended to help employees avoid carrying out work that will disturb asbestos or ACMs.
We will ensure all delegates are provided with an awareness and improved knowledge of the hazards and risks posed by asbestos containing materials within their everyday working environment. We will provide an overview of the applicable legislation currently in place and what your obligations are as an employer and your rights as an employee.
Who should attend?
This Asbestos awareness course is designed for those who are liable to disturb asbestos while carrying out their normal everyday work activities, or those who may influence how work is carried out, such as maintenance workers, building trades (electricians, plumbers, joiners, etc), construction / demolition workers, roofers, shop fitters, gas / heating & ventilation engineers, fire alarm engineers, phone & IT engineers, architects, building surveyors, etc.
