The main target for the spontaneous checks are sites where refurbishment or repair works are being carried out.
Safe working at height, management of dust risks and provision of adequate welfare facilities are among the subjects that inspectors have been informed to check.
Midlands Asbestos Solutions completed a demolition project in Worksop last week that was subject to a successful visit from the HSE. On this particular project the welfare facilities were provided by us until the demolition was complete.
It was the first time we had worked in conjunction with GF Tomlinson & Sons Ltd which is part of the Tomlinson Group, a Derby based main contractor.
